  • Original music and covers
  • Featuring strong vocals and well blended harmonies
  • Rick on guitar, keyboard, banjo, mandolin
  • Bev on guitar, djembe, whistles, percussion

Rick Quimby and Bev Rodrigues met at WUMB’s first winter music weekend (now called WAMW – Winter Acoustic Music Weekend) in February 2013, and found that they both knew and enjoyed many of the same folk artists such as Bill Staines, David Mallett, and Lui Collins. They have played together as a duo since then, performing at open mikes, and have featured the Main St. Café in Groton, MA and the Colonial Inn in Concord, MA. They are drawn to songs that touch the heart, the spirit, or the funny bone, and do a mix of originals and covers. Their performances feature well-blended harmonies backed by guitar, banjo, mandolin, keyboard, and djembe drum. Rick, from Worcester, has been playing guitar and piano and writing songs most of his life, but only in recent years has he become active in the open mike circuit. Bev, from Groton, also has deep roots in music, and has for many years been a member of two local bands – the Contra Banditos and Snow Crow.
